3M Temflex Vinyl Electrical Tape 165 is a good quality, multi-purpose vinyl insulating tape. It has great resistance to moisture and varying weather conditions. It is a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) tape that is flame-retardant and conformable. 3M Temflex 165 Tape provides great mechanical protection with minimum bulk. It is a UL Listed and CSA Certified “Insulating Tape.” No solvents are used in the manufacturing process.
3M Temflex Vinyl Electrical Tape 165 provides good stretch and flexibility and better general use bundling, insulating and sealing. Suitable for moderate indoor & weather-protected outdoor uses between 32ºF to 194ºF (0°C and 90°C). Ideal for general use insulation, color coding for phase identification, wire marking and safety. Electrical insulation for wire and cable splices rated up to 600 volts.
